5v5 flag football play
Center Screen
This is a change-up that punishes defenses for sprinting deep with your receivers — the center sneaks out where nobody is looking. Tell your players: 'Everyone else runs off like it's a deep shot; C, be patient, then go.'
How to run it
- 1
C: count 'one-one-thousand' after the snap, then slip to the left flat — the delay is what makes the defense forget you.

QB: drift back with your eyes downfield to sell a real pass, then flip it to C on the move.

WR1 and WR3: run your deep routes hard through the whistle — your speed clears the flat; nobody stops to shield a defender.

- 1. C
A screen has one pre-determined target — C leaking into the flat — so the QB's only job is selling the fake and delivering; if C is covered, throw it away at her feet.
